Electric & Hybrid Vehicle Batteries
Every electric or hybrid vehicle uses Lithium-ion batteries to power electric motors to drive the wheels.
In addition to the Lithium 'drive' batteries, auxiliary functions such as door locks, alarms and lights are powered by a conventional 12V battery. This battery is typically an AGM type located in the vehicle boot, but can also be an EFB or lithium type. These batteries do fail and will continue to provide a source of replacement battery business for the automotive aftermarket.
